  11. a dark corner. The artist Edward Hopper said about this
  12. painting, ‚Äú Nighthawks seems to be the way I think of a night
  13. street. I didn‚Äôt see it as particularly lonely. Unconsciously,
  14. probably, I was painting the loneliness of a large city.‚Äù
